Mom n Baby Time

Yesterday, after little rascal's enrichment class, we went to JP to shop. Why I wanna go there? Heehee...because I read from the motherhood forum that Bakerzin is giving 50% off on cookies cheese cake. Since I have never tried before, I decided to make use of this opportunity.

I know little rascal is unwell, but a quick one won't do any harm, right? We were there early around 10 plus in the morning. Most of the shops were not even opened for the day yet. So,  I ergo-ed little rascal and walked around. Little rascal fell asleep in ergo and I just walked and walked, hoping he could catch as much sleep as he can. But, after walking for 1 hr, I began to feel his weight and was so tired that I could not walk anymore.

Finally I settled down for fish ball noodles but the minute I got my noodles, little rascal began to struggle and opened his eyes to look at me. So, no choice, I took him out from ergo and let him sat beside me. I was eating so fast trying hard not to let him played with my spicy noodles. After which, I went straight to Bakerzin, ordered cookies cheese cake and pumpkin soup for him. Yup, his lunch.

Little rascal seemed to like the cheese cake. He finished all but not quite like the pumpkin soup. He even spat out the pumpkin soup. As usual, he could not sit still, so after he messed up our table (threw cutlery and packs of sugar on the floor), he stood up on his seat (comfortable arm chair) and turned around, and began to mess up the next table. Aiyo, I tell you. It is just so hard to go out with him alone. He is so action-packed. After I settled the bill, the minute I put him down on the floor, he started to run away from me. He was running towards the escalator and I almost had a hard time chasing after him. He is fast. I tell you. May be he is the future 100m Olympic runner.

Little Rascal Is Sick......

Yup, little rascal is sick. Fever, running nose and cough.....3 days already. I was hoping he can recovers on it's own but it's just getting worse. So, this morning we went to see a doctor. Well, usually we visit his paediatrician at Gleneagales. But as I can't claim from hubby's company, I decided to bring him to a normal GP near our house.

I think the GP has no experience with toddler. She couldn't even examine little rascal's throat to see if there is any infection. Little rascal struggled and cried and nearly vomited when she tried to put the stick in his mouth. Twice, she did that. And, twice, she didn't get it. She chatted a lot and that gave me the impression that she was dragging the consultation time (so that she could charge more). Anyway, I think this is the last time I see her. I'll stick to little rascal paediatrician.

Little rascal wakes up at around 6am these 3 days. Most probably it is due to his sickness. And, as his sole caregiver, I have to wake up the time he wakes up. I'm soooo tired and sleepy as it's been a while that I do not wake up so early. Besides, little rascal is so cranky when he is sick. Cry and cry all day. I know he's feeling uncomfortable but he is really testing my limit.

This morning, while I was reading newspaper, he came and lied down on my laps, and the next thing I knew, he bit me! Wah, I was so angry that my immediate reaction is to hit him. Of course, he cried like no tomorrow. But I hate him when he bites me. I have been telling him so many times and yet he just keeps doing it over and over again. Another thing is he likes to throw things on the floor, especially the kitchen. Same thing, have been warning him several times. This noon, while I was having my lunch in the kitchen, he took the wireless house phone set and threw the thing hard on the floor. I was so furious that I screamed at him. The maid quickly took him away but that little rascal turned and looked at me cooly before he walked off. I cannot imagine how he is like when he grows up.

Hair

This is an update on Sunday (22.3.07).

I finally decided to do something to my long forgotten hair on Sunday. I was contemplating if I should go back to my hairstylist or try on others. My hairstylist is good but very expensive. And, thinking of saving some money, i decided to go to somewhere nearer.

Hubby and I went to recci a few salons at a nearby mall. And, we finally settled on one that was crowded as we reckoned it should be good. Requested for a creative director to do my hair and because it was so jam-packed, hubby went home to rest and fetched me later.

I trimmed, coloured and digital permed my hair on the same day. It took me 6 long hrs !!! Aiyo, I sat there till I was almost frozen. It was so freaking cold! The creative director who was doing my hair was a young chap full of Malaysian accent. Ya, I know, not many local want to do such job. I was thinking since he is so young, how many years of experience can he possibly have. Very limited, I guessed. Besides, his assistant (another young chap), didn't even know how to blow my hair!!! The way he blowed my newly permed hair was completely WRONG !!! How do I know? Because my previous hairstylist ever taught me how to do it. So, as you can anticipate, I was very disappointed on how my hair was done. True enough, the end result did not turn out well. I didn't like my hair!!! The way it's permed and the colour that's dyed on my top and tip of my hair. They just didn't seem right !!  My dad said it's a waste of money and I agreed completely.

I now so regret. I spent so much money and I ended up like this.
Well, I think I'll just go back to my previous hairstylist the next time I want to do my hair. I don't care! Even if it means that I need to spend a bomb.

Lazzzzzy....

Just realised that I have not updated my blog for almost a week! Gosh, I actually thought it was just a few days only.

Well, I just came back from JCC  (country club) after practicing my swing. Last 2 lessons I had been learning putting and chipping so kinda throw 'swing' out of my mind. The first few strokes of my swing was so terrible. I just couldn't get it right. But, luckily, after hitting around 50 balls, I finally got back my perfect swing :P

Hubby was telling me that it is time that we get our own clubs but...but...they are just so expensive. We are not just getting one but TWO sets of clubs! Besides, we have been spending quite a lot of money recently ( Yup, I just spent $400 on my hair on Sunday), plus recession and etc....I'm just not so sure if we should get it now or wait for a little bit longer. Grrr....headache!

Day Out....

Yesterday I went to Vivo to meet my friend Y. Not alone, but with son and maid. Luckily I brought maid along else I would be busy handling little rascal, and not catching up with Y.

Y was kinda dressed up. Very pretty. This is not the usual her as she does not wear make-up and dress very casually. But I like the changes. It's so much better. Love her newly done hair...so nice. Unlike mine, aiyo, so limp, flat and no body. Really need to trim it but the thought of bringing maid and son along...sigh...forget it!

Anyway, we had lunch at Bakerzin. Was chating away when hubby showed up to join us for lunch. After which, hubby went back to office and, Y and I proceeded to Haagen-dazs for ice-cream and coffee. This was the first time I had coffee since almost 2 years ago. Had stopped drinking coffee ever since I was pregnant. And, I got to tell you....this coffee was so strong that I felt like vomiting an hour after I had it. It must be the caffeine. Think I better start with something milder....like cafe latte?

Angry...

I just spanked the little rascal. I am getting more and more impatient towards that little fella. Maid spent 1.5hrs to feed him dinner...yes, he takes longer and longer to finish his meal. And, most of the time ended up unfinished.

I was surfing the net while the maid fed him. 1hr had past and yet the little fella still left with 2 spoonful of rice. I looked at the clock. It was 6.03pm. Maid played with him and at the same time, holding one spoonful of rice in her right hand. After some time, I looked at the clock again. 6.29pm. The maid was still holding it. I was mad. Angry with the maid for not feeding him anything in 30 mins. Angry with that little rascal for not eating. Arrrgghhh !!! I am behaving more and more like some mad woman now. Not PMS I hope....

My Rascal Boy

See lah...my font all go haywired! So frustrated!

Ok, gonna talk about my son.

He is almost 17 mths old. I said almost because he is going to be 17 mths old tomorrow. One cheeky fellow I should say. He is always up to some mischief. His hobby is to open my drawers and cabinets, and take out everything. Yes, EVERYTHING. Before I had a maid, I would have to pick up everything from the floor and pack them up again. The thing I hate most is when he pulled out all my clothes. Imagine I had to fold up all the clothes again and again till I almost go crazy. Now I leave everything to the maid :)

Rascal boy likes to bring my bedroom slippers to me and wear it for me...kinda sweet, eh? Whenever I am standing in front of the mirror, he will bring me a comb. You gotta take from him, and pretend to comb hair else he will make noise. 霸道 !

Little rascal is still babbling. Well, he has been calling daddy as dad dad for don't know how many months and only recently that he started to call mama...He calls me mama, call grandma 'ma' then eating 'mama'. I wonder if he really knows what mama means.

Anyway, these few days he is driving me nuts. He refuses to finish his meal. Imagine he still has half a bowl left after 1 hr of eating. Then this afternoon, I brought my spicy noodles to him trying to tempt him into finishing his meal, he cling on to me wanting to eat my noodles, so I gave him a bit to try. Haha... you should see his reaction. He covered his mouth with his hand and the face all crumpled up. I thought that might scare him off but that little rascal came to me again and asked for more! Ok ok, next time I will feed him curry.

Sick

Arrrrggghh....am feeling very lousy today. I was sick on Sunday then thought I had recovered yesterday, but who knows I felt terrible this morning when I woke up. I felt like vomiting. Oh nope, not pregnant... if that was what you were thinking. I had passed the flu virus to little rascal yesterday and I felt so guilty about it. Luckily, after a night's rest, that rascal boy had recovered, so I guess the flu bug came back to me again. Sigh.....

Rain

Am still struggling with the font...I had set my desired font for my previous post but it still didn't turn out the one that I DESIRED. Anyway, I hope this one turns out well.

It was raining so heavily this morning and yet, the weather now is so scorching hot. Talking about rain, the one on Sunday was so dramatic. Hubby and I went to my parent's place after IT show. We were just so lucky. It started to rain right after we reached parent's place.

Hubby was busy teaching dad how to use the laptop. Yup, dad starts to learn surfing net now. Anyway, the rain came so sudden. It was pouring! Yes, literally. It was as if someone was pouring water from outside. The wind was so strong. Bamboo sticks (used for hanging clothes) fell to the floor and flower pots were over-turned. Dad and I quickly shut the balcony door. Wow, then the best part was my dad's room. I could not believe what I saw. The rain was coming in furiously from the window. The windows were supposedly sealed! Gosh, in just a few seconds, the room was flooded. Then maid and I like siao zha bo (mad woman) trying to stop the water from flowing out to the rest of the room. Aiya, I should have taken a photo to show. You may wonder where was mom during the whole ordeal. Hahaha... she was lying comfortably reading her book in another room with aircon on, without knowing what's happening to us.

yesterday...

Hubby and I had golf session in the morning. This was our 3rd session and we were learning chipping and putting on the green. As usual, Brad (our Canadian coach) spent more time with me than with hubby. I was lousy. I was completely off during the first few attempts of chipping. My club didn't even manage to hit the ball as I was afraid my club would hurt the grass. Ha...so silly of me. Then we started to learn putting. Hubby was good whereas I always missed the hole. He told me it was just like playing marbles and he was definitely good at it. I don't even play marbles and moreover, I was SICK. I was suffering from running nose. It was like a tap...non  stop dripping. Imagine I even had a mask on me. Why? To stop sneezing and dripping.
Anyway, it was a great session and I enjoyed it very much.

Thereafter, we went to IT show at Suntec. It was so packed! People mountain people sea!  Fortunately, we were early so it was not as bad as I heard from others. I was told that there were traffic jams everywhere. Security guards even blocked some of the entrances and controlled the number of people from entering the place. Hubby wanted to get a scanner and we were quick. We just dashed to Canon, talked to the sales person, paid and left. It took us only 10 minutes the most...heh heh....

Hoooo---Finally!

I have just completed the steps of creating a blog and I just can't believe am blogging now! Oooh ooooh !!

Hubby has been asking me to write a blog ever since last year when I was pregnant with rascal son but I'm just toooo lazy. I just keep delaying with the idea and now, finally, am going to see my very first post. Heh heh ....

Ok, shall take a shower first before I write any further.
